Uniforms

Uniforms are a necessary item all kids at any private or public school need to wear. Now people may think that this represents our school in tremendous ways to show that all our students are model kids. Well let me explain to you why this may not be true in all cases and why students should not be forced to wear them.

First, we're just kids and should not be forced to wear uniforms that make us seem like we're adults, there is plenty of time for that when we work in an office and have to dress accordingly. Being 13 years old I have had to wear a uniform since kindergarten, year after year, after year its the same old thing gray pants and a white shirt and tie with a sweater. This is not what i kid should have to wear 5 out of 7 days of the week.

Second, very few students actually wear their uniform properly all the time, so does this really represent our school properly. Instead the school should have a dress code but with regular clothing like they do on civvies days. This means that students can still wear what they want just with an appropriate manner.

To conclude i think uniforms are just plain stupid I don't like walking around dressed like i would be when I'm 30. Also that kids should have freedom to dress but within certain boundaries, i believe that this will both represent the school better and let kids wear want they want for their childhood.

Even Song, Even Song, Even Song, how much more boring can it get. Like really can people take in that no 11-18 year old kid wants to take time out of their childhood to be forced to sit through Even song. Actually I should say standing through Even song, I mean sure people take religion very seriously and would want to do that anyways, but not me for I’m not a believer or at least not in religion(sorry Canon Hulse). So here are two reasons why us non-believers should not have to stand through Even Song.

First, our families pay a lot of money to have us go to this school and not for Even Song but for the tremendous education that we are provided with as oppose to a regular public school. I’m sure that me and my parents would much rather have me doing school work than singing hymns. So for this reason I think Even Song should be optional.

Second, I don’t believe in the church or any religion for that matter. To some that is a sin but for me it is a choice and it is truly what I ‘believe’ in. Therefore why should I be forced to stand through Even Song when I don’t even believe in what is being said or sung.

To conclude I think that instead of Even Song we should be learning, because I think most kids would want to learn as oppose to Even Song. Also that it should be a choice to go and not during school but after or before, so that people who are religious can pray and sing and still have the same learning experience as the rest of us.

Future!!

In the future I feel that there will be many new inventions and ways to improve life to make it easier to the common man. Some people think that technology is moving way to fast and that science is to young to understand certain things, but not me I think that with the advance in science today we need more technology to be able to master all we can using technology. Scientists and inventors are already creating new inventions and ideas for the future, but ho many of them are green inventions? So I will help by giving some of my ideas to help people in the future but also make them to help people conserve the earth for future generations.

My first idea/invention is an air traffic system for flying cars that are sure to be created very soon. This system will be much like the one we have now on the ground, but in the air. This will help by creating more room for urban development, yet also conserve the country. This is because trees can be grown and farms can be expanded to where used to roads, but is now free land. Just think how many more farms and country we will have if all the traffic and transportation systems are in the air!

My second idea is to have vacuum type machines beside the drains on the curb. This will suck up any garbage that people leave on the curb and collect it in a big garbage disposal bin underneath the sidewalks (this idea will only work if the first idea doesn’t, because all the cars and traffic systems will be in the air). This could be another way to help clean up the earth and preserve it.

Well I hope some lucky scientist or inventor reads this web log and tries to create one of these inventions. I know that if these are created that they will help man in its push through the technology breakthrough and continue working on finding all that is to be found.

MY SUPERHERO and his POWER's

Captain, I am the best superhero to ever live! This is my superhero name, i chose this name because it describes my superhero best. Now all superhero's guard one city like New York, Chicago etc... So just to fit in i decided that I too would guard one city. This city is Miami, i chose this city because i think it is a sweet city and deserves to be protected from tons of evil villains. Now being as that I'm a superhero I need to have some super powers, so here they are and a description on why I would have them and how I would use them.

My first power would be flying. I love to fly and what a better way to travel around Miami catching villains then flying. Just for superhero efficiency flying would be the way to travel. Also if you get out numbered and have to escape (not that I would ever have to) flying away would make for a quick getaway.

Second, I would have super strength, just for fighting even the toughest evil criminals. I would be able to throw massive objects at the bad guys, and just be overall superior in combat. Also i could have super accelerator suit that would excel my body for super speed and super agility. This improves my overall chance of protecting the fine citizens of Miami.

My last super power would be invisibility, this would increase my super stealth skills. This will also help me sneak up on enemies for optimum attack force! Also if a swift escape was needed i could turn invisible.

So just to conclude because my superhero is so awesome never would the citizens of Maimi be in any danger!

If you could be anyone

Well there are many people i would want to be for a day and it is very hard to pick just one. Rock stars, pro-athletes and movie stars i think would be most people's choice but not for me. I wouldn't want to be a famous person or athlete for just one day i would want to be an animal. Now you may think what a stupid choice, but in my opinion its not! The animal i would pick to be for a day would be a kangaroo(which by the way is my favourite animal)! Now let me tell you why i would want to be a kangaroo.

First, who doesn't like to hop, and what do you do when your a kangaroo.....you hop! Imagine you and your kangaroo friends just hopping around all day in the desert, exploring and getting into so miscellaneous marsupial matter.

Also, kangaroo's are great boxers so you could have some boxing fights with your friends. Plus when your a kangaroo or any animal for that matter you would have no rules and no school, work or deadlines. All there would be was needing to get food, water and just having awesome adventures with your kangaroo pals.

All these reasons add to why kangaroo's are my favourite animal. This is also why i would choose to be a kangaroo for a day even if i could be anyone in the world. HOP ON!

Did you know?

After watching the video I was stunned from the facts and now realizing how much the population and the technology is increasing. Every year both of these things in numbers are growing at a rate more than the previous year. In my opinion this rate is too fast for humanity to stop it.

The population is way too much now and now that’s increasing at this rate I predict soon the earth will become too small to hold all of the inhabitants. A long time ago the myan’s predicted hat in 2012 there would be world wide catastrophes that would deplete the world population back to and tiny amount compared to what is now. I believe in this because without this happening there soon there will be too many people to live on the earth and not enough resources to accommodate all of just an average person's needs.

Also technology is increasing at an extremely fast rate that in time are world could become over run by technology. This could mean that all the world's different countries heritages could be lost by the increasing amount of technology. This is critical to the survival of different cultures.

At the end of the video it asked' so what does this all mean' well i think it means that for population there is soon going to be too many people on the earth and not enough food. Technology on the other hand i think will take over different cultures and heritages.

I was stunned! Yet very disappointed. A lady by the name of Eva Olsson came to our school and talked to us about a great tragedy that affected her and 11 million other people. She explained to us that one word caused a murder of 11 million people this word is "hate".

Now for a second just imagine being told to get out of your homes and pack your bags this is exactly what Eva Olsson was told to do her and her 6 brothers and sisters and her mom and dad were being told the same thing. Once the got out of their homes the walked 10 km just to get to a train that would be packed full of other Jewish people and they were on the train for 3 days before they arrived at Auschwitz. This was a concentration camp where Eva started her horrible journey.

She told us many stories about her journey and throughout the presentation I was shocked and stunned that 11 million people, Jewish people were murdered because of one word, one religion this is just to overwhelming to think that this many people were just tortured, murdered wiped off the planet. This really bothered me to think how evil one man could be to command his army to slaughter and torture 11 million Jews.

The thing I found amazing about Eva Olsson was that even though her family was brutally murdered she had the courage and the strength to fight through the horrible living conditions and end up surviving the Holocaust. Eva Olsson is a survivor but more of all a hero.
